A Tour Of Liverpool

The name Liverpool is known across the world thanks to the football club by that name, but that is what most of us are aware about it. It should not be surprising if you find people who think Liverpool is just a club and are unaware that a city exists by that name. If you happen to be one of them, or not, you should choose Liverpool as your holiday destination next time your trip plan includes England. The city on the northwest England is a historic place to visit. Do not get mislead by the term “historic”, Liverpool is as happening a city as any.

Accommodation in Liverpool should not be a problem at all. There are plenty of options to choose from. The city is filled with fabulous places to stay. Whether you are looking for post or luxury hotels in Liverpool, budget or lavish stay, bread & breakfast staying option or serviced apartments, there is something for every person and to suit every budget. The hotels are not generally overly priced, making them quite affordable for a regular traveller. However, if you find it to be exceeding your budget, you may opt for the cheapest options as well. Malmaison Liverpool is my suggestion to those who love a luxurious stay and wish to enjoy a perfect holiday, complete with a grand staying experience.

If you are looking for places of interest in the city of Liverpool, you will have plenty of options in terms of some stunningly beautiful architectural beauties. As is popular in all of UK, there are quite a few museums in the city. Museum of Liverpool and World Museum are two most prominent ones in the city. If you are planning a visit to the museums remember to keep the entire day planned for the purpose. There are numerous exhibits which will literally take you on a trip through time. The architecture of the buildings housing the museum itself is a treat to the eyes. Make sure your trip also includes the Liverpool Cathedral. While a cathedral might not be much of an attraction to many, but the architecture of this historic building is something you must check out. The massive building has many stories if you care enough to listen.

The historic buildings all across Liverpool also include the “Three Graces”. It basically comprises of three buildings on the Liverpool Waterfront. The Royal Liver, Cunard and Port of Liverpool buildings by Pier Head together form the most iconic part of the city skyline. The architecture of the building are worth a visit and you should keep enough time in your hand so that you will be able to enjoy every feature of these grand buildings. The only disappointment is that you will find that there is no entry for visitors to the interior of these buildings.

There is probably not a soul on this planet who has not heard the name of Beatles. There are numerous fans of this iconic band till this date and the Beatles cars still sells in the market. It is thus natural that the Beatles Story, an exhibit of the life, culture, and rise of the Beatles as a band and the band members happens to be one of the top draws in the city of Liverpool. You should also not miss out on this grand opportunity.
